【計晝緣由：連結地方與校園的文化實踐】 Project Background: Bridging Local Culture and Campus Practice

南州火車站前廣場的浮雕藝術裝置，是一場集結地方政府、鐵路單位與學術能量的深度合作。本計畫由交通部鐵道局委託南州鄉公所執行，並透過產學合作方式，邀請國立屏東大學視覺藝術學系專業團隊策劃建置。 

The relief art installation at the Nanzhou Railway Station plaza is a profound collaboration integrating local government, railway authorities, and academic energy. Commissioned by the Railway Bureau (MOTC) and executed by the Nanzhou Township Office, the project was brought to life through an industry-academia partnership with the professional team from the Department of Visual Arts at National Pingtung University (NPTU).

為了精準呈現南州的文化靈魂，南州鄉公所特別召集了鐵道局、台鐵公司及村里代表組成審議委員會。在多次的現勘與反覆研議中，屏東大學團隊不斷修正與優化設計方案，力求讓這件公共藝術不僅能妝點車站空間，更能成為承載南州歷史、信仰與農業精神的文化地標。 

To accurately capture the cultural soul of Nanzhou, the Township Office convened a review committee consisting of representatives from the Railway Bureau, Taiwan Railway Corporation, and local village leaders. Through numerous site inspections and rigorous deliberations, the NPTU team continuously refined and optimized the design, striving to create a landmark that not only decorates the station but also carries the weight of Nanzhou’s history, faith, and agricultural spirit.

【創作特色：傳統工藝與生成式 AI 的火花】 Creative Highlights: Where Traditional Craftsmanship Meets Generative AI

本作品由屏東大學視覺藝術學系李學然主任與方建明教授帶領數位媒體設計組與美術組師生共同完成。在創作過程中，展現了「科技藝術」與「精緻工藝」的完美結合： 

1. 數位科技應用： 團隊初期先行擬定素描稿，隨後導入生成式 AI 繪圖科技進行多樣化的造型模擬與光影提案，確保浮雕層次能與南州的自然日光完美契合。 

2. 精湛實體製作： 通過審議後，學生參與了從牆面放樣、黏土塑型、玻璃纖維翻模到現場水泥灌注的每一個細節，將數位藍圖轉化為具備「手作溫度」與「建築質感」的浮雕作品。 

Led by Director Shyue-Ran Li and Lecturer Chien-Ming Fang, faculty and students from the Digital Media Design and Fine Arts divisions collaborated to complete this work. The process exemplifies the perfect synergy between "Tech-Art" and "Exquisite Craftsmanship":

Digital Technology Integration: The team initially drafted sketches, which were then processed through Generative AI for diverse stylistic simulations and lighting proposals. This ensured the relief layers would interact harmoniously with Nanzhou’s natural sunlight.
Exquisite Physical Production: Following approval, students participated in every detail—from wall layout and clay modeling to fiberglass molding and on-site concrete casting—transforming digital blueprints into relief works characterized by "hand-made warmth" and "architectural texture."

【作品導覽：南州四重奏】 Artwork Guide: The Nanzhou Quartet

1. 田間曙光．南州之耕 Dawn in the Fields: The Cultivation of Nanzhou

「第一道光，照亮勤奮的土地。」 

這幅作品勾勒出早期南州農夫插秧與犁田的身影。透過極簡幾何立體的構成手法，讓陽光成為最好的化妝師，在牆面上交織出田間的層次感，喚起人們對純淨農村歲月的懷想。 

"The first light illuminates the diligent land."This piece outlines the figures of early Nanzhou farmers transplanting rice seedlings and plowing fields. Using minimalist geometric forms, the work allows sunlight to act as a natural stylist, weaving layers of light and shadow across the wall to evoke nostalgia for the pure, rural past.

2. 蔗香流影．南州之路 

「流金歲月，五分車載滿的甜蜜記憶。」 

南州曾是台灣糖業的重要重鎮。作品捕捉了滿載甘蔗的五分車與孩童追逐的生動畫面，將糖廠興盛時期的熱鬧與辛勤，濃縮在簡約優雅的藝術線條中。 

"The golden years—sweet memories carried by the 'Wufen' (narrow-gauge) trains."Nanzhou was once a vital hub for Taiwan’s sugar industry. The artwork captures the vivid scene of a sugar train laden with cane and children chasing after it, condensing the prosperity and industry of the sugar refinery era into elegant, minimalist lines.

3. 南州舟影．信仰之潮 

「信仰之光，祈求歲月靜好。」 

王爺信仰是南州的靈魂。本作品重現了「迎王祭典」中焚化王船的莊嚴意象，藉由牆面浮雕在日照角度變化下的陰影流動，創造出如同神聖光譜般的詩意效果，象徵驅除災厄、保佑平安。 

"The light of faith, praying for peaceful years."The Wang Ye (Divine Emissaries) belief is the soul of Nanzhou. This work recreates the solemn imagery of the "Burning of the King Boat" from the Welcoming the King Festival. As the sun moves, the shifting shadows on the relief create a poetic, divine spectrum, symbolizing the warding off of evil and the blessing of peace.

4. 南州果香．農人之光 

「豐饒之境，汗水與果實的節奏。」 

作為香蕉與蓮霧的名產區，作品將蕉樹與蓮霧樹進行藝術化處理。利用幾何切割營造出農人勞動的律動感，映照出南州農村特有的堅毅韌性與大地豐收的喜悅。 

"A realm of abundance—the rhythm of sweat and harvest."As a renowned region for bananas and wax apples, this piece artistically renders these orchards. Geometric cutting techniques are used to create a sense of movement reflecting the farmers' labor, mirroring the resilience of Nanzhou’s rural villages and the joy of a bountiful harvest.
